I guess the problem is that it would encourage shameless, populist thumb-grubbing. Whilst more niche and offensive auteurs would be pushed from the mainstream. But what can I say, I like stats.

January 18, 2013 by MarvellousMissONo. After the wood is machined, it's dried in a kiln at about 82 degrees centigrade. Although killing insects and fungi is not the main purpose of kiln drying, the process does both. The timber sits in the kiln for up to 28 days; any insects present are desiccated. whilst fungus can be an issue (depending on the source and species of the timber) it's incredibly rare for freshly machined wood to contain woodworm, since the beetles that lay the eggs prefer dead, rotting trees to live timber.

Click on More Lists... to see all the recently changed lists. I've made Recent Entries pull down a bunch more now too. Plus there are voting buttons for the entries too. WOW.
